FREMONT – The Little Giant tennis team closed out its regular season schedule in fine fashion this week.

Fremont Ross won its final two matches of the season by identical 3-2 scores, picking up victories over Port Clinton and Bellevue, respectively.
Monday’s win over Port Clinton featured victories at Nos. 2 and 3 singles from Isaac Minor and Kurt Harrison, as well as a win from Lucas Cronin/Ethan Moyer at No. 1 doubles.
Cronin and Moyer won Wednesday as well against Bellevue as did Evan Oglesbee and Frankie Scott as No. 2 doubles as well as Harrison at No. 3 singles.
The Little Giants close the season with a stellar 13-6 record.

“It’s been a great season,” coach Lisa Wolfe said. “The senor leadership will be missed.”
Cronin, Moyer and Drew Miller were all recognized by the coaches of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference as they were all named second team all-conference. Minor and Harrison earned honorable mentions.
The Little Giants host the sectional tournament beginning Thursday and concluding Saturday. Cronin/Moyer have a No. 1 seed in the doubles bracket while Miller is seeded No. 2 in singles.
