BOWLING GREEN – The boys tennis season came to a close Wednesday in the district tournament.

The Fremont Ross doubles team of Lucas Cronin and Ethan Moyer won their opening match of the tournament before bowing out in the second round, ending their season as sectional champions, all-TRAC second team and all-district second team honorees.
Cronin and Moyer kicked off the tournament with a 6-2, 6-0 first-round victory over Clay’s Easton Snyder and Trenton Moore.
The second match, however, saw the Findlay duo of Logan Tichenor and Andrew Gilgen end Cornin and Moyer’s season with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
