TOLEDO – The Lady Giant soccer team picked up a much-needed victory Monday and did so in emphatic fashion.
Ross dominated Toledo Start High School with an 11-0 thrashing.

“We dominated the field and kept possession the whole time,” co-coach Emma Schratt said. “We saw lots of talking and passing and the girls did a great job with opening up the field.”
Ashtyn Schneider filled the net five times for the Lady Giants, while Ellie Bloom scored twice as well.
Jadyn Rozzell, Regan Reau, Angel Terraza-Cobo and Shaely Powell also added goals as the Lady Giants improved their record to 2-2 overall.
The offensive explosion did have one drawback: a boring day for goalkeepers Sarah Watson and Jelena Burns, who combined for the shutout victory.
The Lady Giants travel to St. Ursula Academy Wednesday for their first Three Rivers Athletic Conference contest.
