Shanahan (13-19) faces Ethan Mitchell (30-7) from Findlay. Skipping down to the 175 lbs class, Dayne Howey (26-12) will wrestle Keyvon Stewart (25-11) from Maple Heights. Rhein Hottinger (10-14) wrestles Jonny Slaper (24-4) of St. Edward.
“There is nothing more we can show or teach them at this point,” coach Chad Hetrick said. “It is a mental game now and it’s about how badly do they want it.”
Best of luck to our Elite Eight. Qualifying for the state meet is not an easy task but let’s hope that they all put on a show for the fans in attendance and here’s hoping that the purple and white will be represented in Columbus going forward
