The Lady Giants showcased their formidable skills on the diamond with a decisive 7-1 victory over Perkins. The game, marked by strong offensive performances and solid pitching, highlighted the Lady Giants’ resilience and teamwork.

Leading the offensive charge for the Lady Giants was Sophomore Riley Halbeisen, who went an impressive 2 for 3 at the plate, driving in one crucial run. Halbeisen’s consistent performance has been a cornerstone of the team’s offensive strategy throughout the season.

Joining the offensive efforts was Junior Rileigh DeAnda, who also made significant contributions both at the plate and on the mound. DeAnda went 1 for 3, but her hit was instrumental in driving in two runs, providing the Lady Giants with the cushion they needed to secure the win.

The game saw the Lady Giants executing well in both offensive and defensive plays, keeping Perkins at bay and preventing any significant scoring threats. The defensive unit, backed by strong pitching, allowed only one run on the evening, demonstrating their ability to control the game from both ends.

As the season draws to a close, the Lady Giants are set to conclude their campaign this Friday with an away game at the Nader Complex, where they will face off against St. Joe. This upcoming match promises to be a thrilling conclusion to what has been an exciting season for the Lady Giants.
