In a pivotal Northern Lakes League (NLL) matchup, the Lady Giants tennis team emerged victorious with an impressive 4-1 win over Southview last evening. The win marks a significant boost for the Lady Giants, who showcased their skill and determination throughout the match.

Leading the charge in singles play, Kayla Lewis dominated her opponent with a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory, setting the tone for the evening. Elayna Gray followed suit, delivering a strong performance with a 6-3, 6-1 win, further solidifying the Lady Giants’ advantage. Mariska Rakay rounded out the singles victories with a hard-fought 7-5, 6-1 triumph, demonstrating her resilience and composure under pressure.

The Lady Giants’ #2 doubles team, composed of Addy Calhoun and Ruby Harger, added the finishing touch with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 victory. Their chemistry and precision on the court left no doubt as they secured the fourth and final win of the night.

With this victory, the Lady Giants improve to 3-2 on the season, gaining momentum as they prepare for their next challenge. The team will travel to Perkins this Saturday to compete in the Pirate Invite.
