In a remarkable turn of events at this year’s Northern Lakes League (NLL) Championship meet, the Lady Giants exceeded expectations, finishing third overall with a season-low score of 402. Despite entering the championship round in fifth place after a challenging 1-4 record in divisional play, the Lady Giants defied the odds, securing a fourth-place finish in the league.
Dual-sport athlete Lyndi Wolf led the charge, delivering an impressive score of 91, which was the third-best individual score in the Cardinal Division. Wolf’s steady performance set the tone for her team and showcased her ability to rise to the occasion in high-stakes competition.
Right behind Wolf, Olivia Anstead shot a season-best 94, securing fifth place individually and playing a pivotal role in the Lady Giants’ strong team performance. Anstead’s growth throughout the season culminated in this impressive showing when it mattered most.
Addison Schoch contributed a solid score of 106, while Brennah Parker followed with a 111, each playing critical roles in keeping the team competitive. Riley Halbeisen rounded out the scoring with a 119, helping the Lady Giants lock down their surprising third-place finish on the day.
