In a tough Northern Lakes League matchup, the Little Giants fell to Southview 5-0 on Tuesday night, further highlighting their offensive struggles. Playing shorthanded due to multiple injuries to key starters, the team fought hard but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Despite the scoreline, defensive standouts Bryce Estep and Gabe Wensinger anchored a resilient backline, holding their own under constant pressure from Southview’s attack. Senior goalkeeper Cole Kinsey once again put on a standout performance, making several crucial saves that kept the game within reach for much of the contest.

One of the few bright spots on offense was Alberto Martinez, who showed flashes of promise and creativity. However, the Little Giants were unable to capitalize on his efforts, leaving them without a goal for the third time in the last five games.

The loss drops the Little Giants to 2-6-1 on the season, as they look to regroup ahead of Thursday’s match against Napoleon. With hopes of bouncing back, the team will need to find offensive answers if they want to turn their season around
