FREMONT – The Fremont Ross High School bowling teams delivered dominant performances on Saturday, sweeping the Old Fort Stockaders and continuing their impressive seasons.
The Lady Giants secured a hard-fought victory, defeating Old Fort 1714-1564. The girls were led by standout performances from Abby Stachowick, who rolled games of 143 and 171 for a total of 314, and Makaiya Finley, who contributed with games of 128 and 149, totaling 277. The win improves the Lady Giants’ record to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play, showcasing their competitive edge as the season progresses.
Meanwhile, the boys’ team extended their undefeated streak with a commanding 2528-1999 win, solidifying their spot as a team to watch. Key contributors included Zayne Jacobs, who led the charge with an impressive series of 252 and 199 for a total of 453. AJ Kelser followed closely, rolling games of 201 and 247 for a 448 series, while Robert Moreno and William Eastham also delivered strong performances with series of 413 and 412, respectively. The win pushes the boys’ record to a perfect 6-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Both teams demonstrated skill, focus, and teamwork, setting the tone for the remainder of the season. With momentum on their side, the Lady Giants and Giants look poised to make waves in their respective conferences.
