FREMONT – The Fremont Ross bowling team delivered a statement victory Wednesday night, defeating Napoleon 2,654–2,543 to move into a first-place tie in the Northern Lakes League. The Little Giants showcased their best performance since bowling became a varsity sport, led by standout efforts from William Eastham, AJ Kelser, and Robert Moreno.
Eastham set the tone with an impressive 267-226 series for a 493 total, while Kelser followed with a strong 190-259 (449) performance. Moreno added valuable support, rolling a 178-213 (391) to help secure the crucial win.
The victory improves Ross’ season record to 9-1, matching Napoleon atop the league standings as the team continues its pursuit of a championship.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Giants put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to Napoleon 2,301–1,723. Leading the way for Ross were Kenzie Schwochow (156-166=322), Makaiya Finlay (161-135=296), and Abby Stachowick (135-125=270). Despite the loss, the Lady Giants showed resilience and will look to bounce back in their next matchup.
