The Fremont Ross High School boys wrestling team delivered an impressive performance at the Northern Lakes League (NLL) Championships, securing a 4th place overall finish while placing 2nd in the Cardinal Division. The team’s strong showing was highlighted by multiple individual podium finishes, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the wrestlers throughout the season.

Among the standout performers, Collinn Ollom placed 4th in the 106-pound weight class, while his teammate Lincoln Ollom secured a 3rd place finish at 120 pounds. Aidan Autullo fought his way to the finals in the 126-pound division, ultimately finishing in 2nd place. Cooper Hetrick earned a 5th place finish at 144 pounds, and Brody Barth impressed with a 3rd place result at 157 pounds. In the heavyweight division, Zeb Zucker also secured a strong 3rd place finish at 285 pounds.

The most thrilling match of the night came in the 150-pound final, where Bryce Estep put up a valiant effort against Perrysburg’s Cole Evans. In a closely contested battle, Estep suffered a heartbreaking 1-4 loss, narrowly missing out on the championship title. Despite the tough defeat, his performance was one of the most remarkable of the tournament and showcased his determination and skill on the mat.
