The Fremont Ross Lady Giants wrestling team put on a dominant display at the Clyde Sectional, clinching the championship title in commanding fashion. The team showcased their strength, skill, and determination, securing multiple podium finishes and sending nine wrestlers to the District Tournament next week.
Leading the charge for the Lady Giants were sectional champions Jaiden Long (120), Brooklyn Koebel (155), and Keyonna Vann (235). Their stellar performances solidified their spots as top contenders heading into the next stage of competition.
Adding to the team’s impressive results were runner-up finishers Malaya Hughes (100) and Kailani Long (105), both battling fiercely to secure their places at Districts.
In third place, Zoe Kaczmarek (115) and Tamia Bounds (130) demonstrated resilience and determination, earning their advancement with hard-fought victories.
Fourth-place finishers Kylie Peck (125) and Adelynne Scherer (140) rounded out the list of Lady Giants who will compete at Districts, showcasing the depth and talent of the team.
The nine Lady Giants advancing will now prepare to compete at the District Tournament, set for this upcoming Sunday at Findlay High School. With a chance to qualify for the state tournament on the line, the Lady Giants will look to carry their momentum and continue their success.
