The Fremont Ross boys’ bowling team capped off an incredible season with a strong showing at this year’s District Tournament. After a stellar regular season that saw them compile an impressive 14-3 overall record and a runner-up finish at the Northern Lakes League (NLL) Championships, the team battled hard but ultimately fell short of advancing further.
Leading the charge at districts was AJ Kelser, who posted scores of 183, 144, and an outstanding 245 for a series total of 572. Adrian Ontiveros contributed a solid 193 series, finishing with a total of 531, while William Eastham put together scores of 195 to complete a 518 series. Their performances showcased the dedication and skill that propelled the team throughout the season.
On the girls’ side, Abby Stachowiak represented Fremont Ross as an individual qualifier. Despite a strong effort, she finished 37th overall with a series total of 149-355, falling just short of advancing to the state tournament.
While the journey ended at districts, the team’s accomplishments this season will not be forgotten. Congratulations to all the bowlers on a remarkable season, and a special thank you to the graduating seniors for their dedication and contributions to the program. Your hard work and memorable moments have left a lasting legacy at Fremont Ross!
