FREMONT – Another standout from the Fremont Ross swimming program is taking their talents to the collegiate level. Parker Brown, a four-year varsity letter winner for the Little Giants, has officially signed his letter of intent to further his education while continuing his swimming career at Ohio Northern University.
Brown’s decision to commit to the Polar Bears follows in the footsteps of his older sister, Mara Brown, who made a similar choice four years ago. Mara has been excelling in both academics and athletics at ONU, pursuing a degree in nursing while competing for the university’s swim team.
For Parker, the decision to become a Polar Bear was a natural one. Having been a key contributor to the Fremont Ross swim team throughout his high school career, he sought a program that would allow him to continue his development in the pool while receiving a quality education. Ohio Northern presented the perfect opportunity.
Fremont Ross head swim coach, Phil Moran praised Brown for his dedication and leadership throughout his four years with the team.
“Parker has been a tremendous athlete and teammate. He’s put in the work day over the past four years, and it’s always rewarding to see our athletes move on to the next level. This is a testament to his commitment and the strength of our program.”
The Fremont Ross swim program has a strong tradition of producing collegiate athletes, and Parker’s signing continues that legacy. His versatility and determination in the pool made him a standout competitor, and his work ethic ensures he will be an asset to the Polar Bears in the years to come.
With his high school career now in the rearview mirror, Parker is eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with competing at the collegiate level. His family, teammates, and coaches all look forward to seeing him make a splash at ONU.
