Fremont, OH — The Fremont Ross Little Giants continued to build momentum on the diamond Friday evening, earning their fourth win of the season with a commanding 11-1 victory over Toledo Start in six innings.
Fueled by timely hitting and a strong performance on the mound, the Little Giants put together a complete team effort. The offense came alive with eight hits and 11 RBIs, striking out only twice across six frames. Leading the charge was Cameron Joseph, who not only drove in three runs but also earned the win on the mound.
“We’re starting to find some green grass with runners in scoring position,” said head coach Derek Thiessen. “It’s giving us a real fighting chance to stay in games and compete.”
Joseph’s bat set the tone early, and his arm kept Start in check throughout. The Little Giants applied pressure from the start and never looked back, capitalizing on opportunities and showcasing improved offensive rhythm.
The win marks a turning point in the season as Ross looks to build on its recent success and continue climbing in league play.
